This photo shows one of fourteen bulk bag unloaders produced for a major plastics plant in being built in the Carolinas. Each bulk bag unloader featured extra-heavy 4" structural steel frames, a 2-ton hoist with powered trolley and bag untie box with discharge hopper. This unit is designed to discharge plastic pellets. A number of bulk bag unloaders were also produced for discharging titanium dioxide (TIO2). The TIO2 bulk bag dischargers incorporated special hoppers with aeration pads and pneumatic vibrators as a flow aid.
