Erie Technical Systems Inc. has recently completed a new Drum Palletizing System for a major chemical company here in the United States. This system conveys individual filled drums from a drum filling station and palletizes them 4 at a time on a wooden or plastic pallet. ETSI supplied and seamlessly integrated a series of Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyors, DC Motor Driven Roller Conveyors, PalletMAX™ pallet dispensing machine, Drum slipsheet station, diverters and custom controls to give the customer a turnkey solution to handle various drum types and sizes. These items were integrated into an existing drum staging line to allow the customer the flexibility to either palletize drums or to allow them to convey the drums to their existing three accumulation lines.
